On Friday 29th Sept 2023, the Galaxy innovation Initiative joined the Rotaract club of Mbarara, Cape Munyonyo and Munyonyo for a joint project at Rwarire Primary School in Mbarara City.
Rwarire P/S was taken up by the Rotaract club of Mbarara and has done a number of renovations at the school. Speaking at the project launch, the Executive Director Galaxy Innovation Initiative emphasized the need for digital skills acceleration to pupils of Rwarire Primary school through fundraising for computers for both staff and students.
The Galaxy Innovation Initiative committed to spearhead the fundraising drive for the establishment of the Rwarire primary school Computer Lab to enhance students digital skilling through seeking for support from its partner organizations.
The Project proceeded with the plantation of trees and donation of scholastic materials i.e pens and Books to pupils from the Rotaract community to aid their study.
