We identify, train, and support innovators from learning institutions and the community to promote innovation and enterprise development out of research and ideas. With the vision of creating a future for students and creating thousands of new job opportunities for the youth annually, the Innovation Galaxy Initiative was set up to develop and build a generation of young and skilled innovators in the national innovation system.

The Galaxy therefore does co-ordination, training, mentorship, and promotion of young innovators in institutions of learning and around different communities. Working with partners, the Innovation Galaxy Initiative strengthens interrelationships between parties in order to promote innovation and enterprise development out of research and ideas. From supporting the identification, recording, and protection of innovative ideas to coordinating the establishment and implementation of appropriate policies, standards, processes, infrastructure, and partnerships to nurture innovative ideas. The Galaxy also works with partners to ensure appropriate prioritization, relevant capacity development, innovation recognition, and publication of the same.
